The code for this Example site is included with your MMS download. It's intended as a very simple example
of how you can implement the Expinion Member Management System (MMS 4.0.1) into your existing web site.
It quickly shows you how to protect your pages from non-members and how to implement
other tools, such as the login form or quick forms.
Once you have uploaded the unzipped files onto your domain, please be sure to take a look at these files:
- anymember.asp Shows how to protect your pages from any non-member.
- groupmembers.asp Shows how to allow only certain member groups access to your pages.
- inc_header.asp Shows how to implement the login form and member-only links.
TO START THE DEMO:
1. Click on the Any Members and/or Group 2 or 5 Only link in the top menu. (While logged out.)
If you get anything other than the login screen, you are still logged in!
In this case, click the Log Out button first, then try clicking the menu items again.
2. Login.
If you haven't set up any new members yet, try using the defaults...
Username: admin Password: admin .
3. Click the link again, to see how it works when logged in.
